Shri. Rajkumar S Badole
Hon'ble Minister Social Justice & Special Assistance Department

In this age of Information and Communication Technology, the use of technology is happening by the diaspora ranging from young to old. Information & Communication Technology is proving to be an efficient channel for extending the Government schemes up to the nook and corners of the society. This has been the primary thought process behind the launch of department website by the Social Justice & Special Assistance Department.

Further, the world has come closer due to the penetration of Smart Phones and Internet. The usage of these media is now a part and parcel of the life up to the rural areas. The use of these media should be done by the department to inform the general public about the various schemes and their application process that are rolled out by the department. I believe this website can play an important role in this regards. With the help of this website, it would be possible for the beneficiaries to apply for schemes like scholarships, hostel admissions, etc., at a click of a button. This would help curtail the bureaucracy and serve the citizens in an efficient manner.

The State Government has a stated policy of providing services to citizens in an efficient and transparent manner. This policy shall be at the core of the future actions that will be taken up by Social Justice and Special Justice Department. This website of the department should be up-to-date, user friendly and interactive, by way of which it shall be possible to provide quality service to the public. I provide by best wishes to the initiation of the Department’s website.

Hon'ble Minister of State

The current age is widely acknowledged to be the age of Information & Communication Technology. A website is an essential part of the communication strategy of an organization. It was the need of the hour to have an updated and all-encompassing website for a department like Social Justice & Special Assistance which has a continuous and direct connect with the general public. I am happy that this need of the hour is being full filled by the launch of this website. My hearty well wishes to this initiative by the Social Justice & Special Assistance Department. I hope that this website shall receive positive response from the internet users and it will help in fulfilling the aspirations and expectations of the general public
